Description:ServiceLink has an immediate opening for a Marketing Assistant. The Marketing Assistant is a key link in implementing marketing strategies across the company by providing materials, support and coordination to Sales Managers, Sales Executives, Executive Team, and Business Units.  The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for development of company and client specific marketing collateral including but not limited to presentations, proposals, flyers and product documentation.  In addition, this position will be responsible for coordination of special projects and other promotional endeavors to assist in establishing company brand awareness.  The Marketing Assistant must be detail-oriented, highly organized, deadline-focused and clear and direct with communication.
Duties:
  • Create, update and properly brand marketing collateral posted to internal and external websites and utilized for sales and marketing efforts.
  • Preparation of collateral material for client meetings including but not limited to PowerPoint presentations, proposals, flyers, and reports.
  • Maintain standardized branding guidelines for all business channels.
  • Creative writing for press releases, advertisements, product documentation and other company awareness materials.
  • Coordination for ordering, warehousing and distribution of collateral materials and promotional items.
  • Assists Sales Executive, Project Manager and Business Units with the development and delivery of lender Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI). 
  • Management of RFP Online Database.
  • Assist in activities related to conferences and internal or external events.
  • Manage inbound sales and marketing website inquiries.
  • Perform advanced administrative duties including scheduling meetings, conference calls and training as well as travel and event planning as directed.
  • Minimum of 10% travel will be required.
  • Schedule flexibility and overtime will be required.
Qualifications:
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and deadline-focused.
  • Strong, clear and direct communication skills.
  • Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Visio.  Graphic experience in Adobe Illustrator or comparable software.
  • Creative writing and graphical design skills preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Experience in mortgage or financial services industry preferred.
  • Ability to interact with senior management and all levels of employees as well as customers.
  • Strong job commitment, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, reasoning skills, and problem solving abilities, proof reading, detail level management of projects.
  • Previous administrative/support experience in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience in multi-tasking several projects at one time.
